Rudy, I have to agree with our Ft. Worth friend--going to Houston will add hours to your drive. You can probably stay on Hwy 80 for a while, instead of getting onto 20 at Terrell. Check a map and find a country road that connects the two somewhere east of Canton. Then go I-49 to 190 into Baton Rouge.

I love Superior Grill, but being from North Texas, you can get good Tex-Mex anywhere, so definitely go for the Cajun food.

I'm married to a North Texas alum. We were going to the game in September, but the timing wasn't right for us to make it down this weekend.

I thought about it myself. This is the guys first post on this forum and didn't come in here soliciting smart-a** remarks to an innocent question. I know you were just kidding around with him, but he doesn't know that. I just don't think people should be welcomed so rudely to the board.

In a few weeks, I would have no problem with you ribbing him like that. But not exactly what I'd call the "welcome wagon."

At least SabanFan didn't insult his mother. I guess maybe Mr. T's message is finally getting through.

(one of the best things I've seen in a while)

Welcome Rudy. Kudos to you for not being a bandwagon fan.

Here's to a good game with respectable effort by both teams, and no injuries.

Well then, that would make us different, wouldn't it?

He'll be gone to the nether regions of the Sun Belt after Saturday. Why do you care if I hurt his feelings? Which I doubt I did.

    Oh. OK.

Why don't you read the "Why I hate Bama" thread and pass along some of your wisdom to the *******s there.
