If our defense plays the same as they have the last three games, Auburn doesn't cross the 50 without some assistance from a turnover. Let's assume we get the turnover thing fixed. LSU 35 Aub 0
That's what I told them on AUNation forums. They thought I was crazy, but I don't think my prediction was so absurd :yelwink2:
I think it's a little optimistic. Their defense has been quite good and their offense has looked better than predicted, but their QB is young & hasn't had to face a defense like this & sure hasn't had to play in a place like this. I'm thinking we rattle him well enough to most stop their offense. I think our offense will be able to score 21 pts on them with a few strong drives & like our chances of getting a defensive touchdown that counts this game.
I'm betting LSU cuts down on the turnovers, but still doesn't play a turnover-free game. It'll be a blowout at halftime, but Auburn makes some noise in the 2nd half before LSU puts it away early in the 4th. LSU 34 Auburn 13 GEAUX TIGAHS!!!!
But your QB spent freshman year sending signals to Jason Campbell while JR was starting games. Experience might be a factor when Cox can't hear himself breathing on a 3 & long while 92k people vibrate his eardrums.
Clausen was able to and he's sucks a$$. We need to put pressure on Cox by stuffing their ground game.
