On the bright side, if USC is to lose only one game this year, this would have been a bad week for it. With LSU losing earlier in the week, we would have stayed behind USC even if they lost. At least this way, we can jockey into position, so if they do fall later, we can pass them in the rankings.

    Just trying to stay optimistic..

Don't kid yourself, USC will never fall behind a team with an equal amount of losses.

We're not even capable of beating USC this year. Now in '03 I believe we would have beat them. The 2003 team could beat this years USC team. We don't have that kind of team now

I take back the part about me being wrong :D lol The second half is what I expected in the first half...ASU is a good team, just got over-athleted and out played in the 2nd half. Kinda like we did to them in the 4th.

Could anyone else detect the sheer sadness in Keith Jackson's voice when ASU was controlling the game? He seemed depressed and 'limp'.

Yes I did. This is tough to say as he use to be one of my favorites, but Keith Jackson needs to retire. He has lost any sense of nonpartisanship and his broadcasts are nothing more than one correction after another.

My only fear is they would hire Bent Mushbugger to replace him.
