..........Best describes the look on Les Miles face in the 4th quarter. Where was the passion and fire that you see in winning coaches? Where was the determination you often saw from John Wooden, Bear Bryant, Vince Lombardi and Bill Walshe? (I'll even throw in Nick Saban) Look at all the great coaches in football. Just about every one was/is a killer. Run up the score and break your opponents back and spirit so that no one but the good Lord Himself could overcome the deficit. Is that what coach Miles did? No! Of course not. Our second rate Oklahoma coach sat on the sidelines with a"pig looking at a wristwatch" look on his face. Trying to figure out what to do next......praying the bleeding would stop. I don't know of a successful coach on the planet that would sit on the ball with 2 minutes left hoping for OT when there is enormous momentum in the favor of you opponent. Defense was really out of gas in a big way, but just like in the AS game we got our a$$e$ handed to us in the secondary all night. There were many opportunities that UT missed that would have beat us outright. Special teams did great. Green is a running machine and thank God we have him. As for our offensive execution, and our running game was great.....our boys up front did a nice job of opening up holes. Our passing game......weak at best. Did we once throw the ball deep? No. Did we mix it up by throwing screens and posts? No. Miles ran it up the middle just like an old school yankee high school coach does. Ridiculous. I've seen some posts on here about students/fans booing because of the play calling and poor execution.....well I would have been booing too. Suck it up whinners and thicken up that skin. We are a football school and a football state and when you play $hitty football that's what you get. Live with it or get another team to root for. I hope that Miles gets an earful and gets his head out of his a$$. I truly am an optimist, but from what I saw from Miles last night, I'm very concerned to say the least. Things better get different real quick and Miles needs to wake up and understand he ain't in Oklahoma anymore and we won't put up with high school coaching very long. :geauxtige Evans
Actually I know a High School coach here at South panola that would probably be better than Miles. IMHO..... at this point anyway. Coach Woods call Miles and give him some pointers PLEASE!
yea, but i've been brewing over this all day and wanted to add a few more points.....pissed off does not begin to describe my day today
yea......it's a good bike to get.......can't say i've gotten a hard on over it, but glad to know someone is
well he has a point. they did suck.... really bad. You can love your team as I do but you cant ignore the waste of talent.
