Jimbo is not with Saban in Miami.

Basic question: Is LSU a running team or a passing team? beats me.

Good question. I wish I knew.

Are we giving too much credit to our talent at WR or is it being underutilized? I don't think anybody really knows at this point.

Would your question be easier to answer if both Addai and Broussard were healthy? Or would it have made a difference?

I don't know.... I've watched and coached football for what seems like "forever" and when I watched the game I said so what is it they think they are good at?

    Hence the question.

Supposed best WR core in the nation with a stable of backs that could afford losing their starter to go down and not miss a beat. We were supposed to be well rounded, when the truth is we are neither as of tonight.
Joe Addai could have done much more damage but rode the pine for whatever reason.

We have enough talent at wide out to be a passing team as good as any but traditionally LSU is a running team, ball control, or they were.
QB is a bit rough around the edges though.
IMO our biggest problem is the inability to manage the QB position. Whether it is the player or the coach i don't know. It could be both. In a way the QB is somewhat an extension of the Offensive coordinator and at times the head coach, on the field. he should know when to call time outs, and basically have his head in the game at all times. Most of all be a leader and consistant. Like a Lieutant the caoch can depend on out on the field.

When you start having to play conservatively, either because oof or lack of confidance in your QB, then thins suffer. You'll go three and out and then your defense looks bad, due to being on the field all day.

Think if LSU had consistanly gotten the ball to it's play makers through the QB. Think if we'd have used the clock and made that 1st half field goal? Or not given the ball up on poor snaps?
just consistant ball playing nothing extravagant. That alone would have given us three more and take 7 from them.

All of the posts seem to be the same. People saying we have more talent than any team in the country--Our receivers are the best in the country--we have this---we have that------Yet we blow a big time lead to an average Tennessee team----We DON"T have any TEAM CHEMISTRY!!! WE DON"T have a TEAM LEADER!!! IF we really are as talented as i've read about and heard from different people then why are we losing? I don't know---I'm confused and tired of ultra-conversative play calling and defensive schemes. LES MILES and BO PELLINI will both be looking for different jobs next year. I hope Saban quits MIAMI and comes to rescue the LSU TIGERS.
