Les made a huge mistake at the end of regulation when he played for Overtime. It was very obvious that our Defense was completely gassed and that Tennessee had all the momentum. We had the ball with 2 minutes left with a chance to go down and kick the winning FG. By sitting on the ball, Miles let our best remaining chance to win the game slip away. IMO, he really blew it on that decision. My runner up for big mistake of the game was coming out in the 3rd quarter in a defense where our corners were 10 yards off the receivers. That allowed them their 1st TD and gave Clausen and the team a lot of confidence. I don't know if this was a Pelini or Miles decision, but it was another huge mistake. Saban would never have done that.
What about the timeout Miles tried to call after the late LSU INT? Surely he knows that the clock stops after a change of possession right? Some other coach had to run over to him and tell him stfu...
I hope history doesn't repeat itself here. Every game that goes by I like Les and his other coaches a little less than before.
Huh? He's only coached 2 games. In the summer you guys had this guy in your top 10 for college football coaches...can I guess where he is now?
Easy for you to say, your an Auburn fan. I was kinda on the border of saying that but decided too. Would you be happy with your coaching staff if your team played the exact games we did? I doubt it, your just happy because you will have a real good shot at winning the west. We Won't beat Florida, maybe not Alabama either if things don't change around here real fast. Even SabanFan said something like we have no offense or D. It takes really bad coaches to screw up the talent pool here left by Nick Saban. If Les Miles can't win with these guys he will be a loser here. His talent won't be as good as Nick can recruit. The SEC aint the Big 12 either where you have 3 teams that can win and the rest are less
