1. Erik Ainge is mormon? If so, this game is in the bag for us. Doesn't Tennessee know that having a mormon on your team, especially at quarterback, can only lead to loss after loss.
  2. Shouldn't he be out riding a bike around annoying people?
  3. Now, that is just too damn funny!!
  4. Yes, Robbie Bosco is his cousin. Doesn't the mormon religion restrict the partaking of physical exercise on Monday? I guess if Erik Ange is a mormon, his uncle, danny ainge must be a mormon too.
  5. I would like to know what do you think about the LSU Tennessee Game now that the shock and disappointment has worn off . The Tigers had a great win last week and are looking foward to another great team win this week . Just how weak was that Tennessee Team ???Another question, could or can this LSU team beat the Tennessee team if the two teams were to meet again this year ?? I think not , I also think that ,Phil Fulmer ,was being nice to your new coach , so he did not start Rick. If Rick had of started the game the score would have been 42 to 0 . I would like to read what you think about that . You all have such great sports insight Thank you from my ROCKY TOP HEART CLICK HERE
  6. I think you should be thankful that you got your licks in while this dog was down.....it won't happen again
  7. I think payback will come in Atlanta in early December. :thumb:

Yep ride that Rick bandwagon....he's the greatest
  8. Wish the Tigers could avenge the loss in the championship game. But after Georgia spanks your ass on Saturday, guess that won't be possible. :dis:
  9. Dude, get real. First of all, Baby Clausen left LSU b/c he knew he wouldn't have a shot to play here with all of our talent. And the game didn't change that. He did a good job to bring your team back, but he wasn't spectacular. And if you think he's something special, you're kidding yourself.

You're also straight smoking crack if you think it would've been 42-0 with Clausen in sooner. Ain't no way.

Here's the deal. Had this game been a little later in the season, or even had it been the 24th with Katrina and Rita never happening, LSU would have beaten Tenn soundly. Granted our offense and defense were both too conservative in the second half, but if you honestly think that all of the lack of sleep, lack of practice, added stress, worrying about family, distracting things on campus, etc. etc. etc. didn't adversely affect LSU players and coaches, then you're a hopeless moron. It was painfully obvious in the second half when our defense lost all of it's steam. These kids had played 1 single game by that point, and it had been over 2 weeks before.

So go ahead and tell yourself that your team is so much better than LSU that if you meet again you've got it in the bag. Hopefully your team will think that way too. B/C if these teams meet again in Atlanta, the ending will be different. Count on it.
  10. That Tennessee team played some good football against us. Defensively, we couldn't stop them. The coushins our corners gave them allowed them to move the ball almost at will on us. Even still, that would not have been enough for them to beat us if our offense had been worth a ****. 3 & outs all 2nd half, made our defense very tired & kept giving Tennessee chances to score. Also, without JaMarcus's interception, I don't think Tenneesee would have had time to come back to win it.

Don't kid yourself, Tennessee was lucky to walk away with a win; but LSU would have been lucky as well if we had won it.

So far, both our defense & offense have looked much improved since the Tennessee game (albeit against much weaker competition) & if we get a chance to play them again in the SECCG - it won't even be close.
