Don't take my word for it: read for yourself what Bo had to say recently:

    LSU's Pelini Already Correcting Things

We have all the ingredients for this guy to become more and more successful. Should his corrections lead this defensive team to getting a solid understanding of his defense and excelling on the field, I fear some "fans" will have nothing left to question.

Why? Because he's a very experienced defensive coach with a extensive pro and college background. If he can build on that success at LSU, he will likely be a top notch head coach somewhere sooner rather than later. If that happens, then obviously he will have had great defensive success while here at LSU. After all, his goal is to accomplish such success and he will do everything he can to do so.

Les Miles was big enough to retain Jimbo Fisher in part because he saw a talented offense that had the ability to flourish under a philosophy that was put in place before he arrived.

It's quite pleasing that at the same time he had the wisdom to go out and hire a top notch defensive coordinator to compliment Fisher. I truly wish this coaching staff the best, and the more I read quotes like the one above, the more I keep thinking that this could be a very special season for LSU!!!

Seasons like this---ones with real promise and championship potential---don't come often to these parts. I'll be damned if I sit back quietly as the tigers win games each and every Saturday. I'll be yelling at the top of my lungs cheering them on!!!!

:geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige LSU! LSU! LSU! :tigerhead :tigerhead :tigerhead

This is why there are so many denominations of Christianity. Everyone has the same text, yet picks and chooses what they want to preach.. and interprets them differently.

I'm with LSUGrad on this one.

    HAIL PELLINI!

AMEN Brother! It is exactly the glass half full or empty. And my God all this after one game in which LSU won, on the road, in its opener, against a Top 15 team that won just as many games as LSU did last year, and blew out Iowa. But you'd never know it around here!

I don't think anyone doubts its the coaching. Our players have shown in the past that they are capabale of being the best in the country

It's because we have some good posters here who report the truth of the matter (LSUGrad99) and others who allow biased opinions to make up the truth...

Fightin, it may have just been one bad game. Give the man a chance.

We gave up 45 points last year to UGA and over 430 yards to them.

    It happens some games.

The D can't get much worse

Actually the way I see it is "you have twice as much glass as you need";)
