i've yet to post during the ASU game because there's been so much negativity. you know who you are and I can't believe some of the posts i've seen. Please find another team to cheer for cause we don't need you as fans.
My reply is going to be like a politician, saying nothing while saying something. What I would like to really say is not lady like.
I've posted some of that negativity, but all I have to say now is, it's about time we WON a game with special teams instead of vice versa.
dude, did you see the defense tonight? yeah we won, but it was pathetic...we gave up 400+ yards when there were guys wide open. oh, please note...my season tickets and "subscription" for them, give me the right to complain. If you don't want to see it, don't read it.
Who's we? I graduated LSU in 1990. I've been a fan a long time, maybe longer than you, I don't know, but don't bring me into your group. This game was eerily similar to the Oregon St. game last year, except maybe worse. Last year, we had QB problems and it was obvious in that first game. But that problem, believe it or not, does not appear to have been as bad as what we are seeing in the defensive secondary. It is totally valid to criticize the D. I am very happy about the win. I feel for the ASU fans. They have to be shell-shocked. I know I would be. I'll happily take this W, but a W is not always a W. This is a W that exposed a huge gaping hole that we have, almost quite literally in the defensive backfield. What now?
It's a free country, I love the tigers and seldom complain but I've been a tiger fan for 40 years if I wanna bytch a lil you aint gonna stop me.
I just want to say that Iam not a bandwagon fan. But the Tigers coaches need to work on some things LIKE COVERING MAN TO MAN and not ZONE. IT is a win :helmet:
