re: The official "Send Pelini BACK to OU" thread - Old Thread You got that right! We need some defense! Good thing most SEC teams are run first!
re: The official "Send Pelini BACK to OU" thread - Old Thread Pellinni appears to be a desciple of Lou Tepper. They sure forgot about Sabans bump man to man defense in a hurry.
re: The official I really hope this is not Lou Tepper revisited. I am getting to miss Saban as well. Are there deficiencies in the cornerback coaches?????????? ________ Avandia Lawsuit
re: The official "Send Pelini BACK to OU" thread - Old Thread If Prude wasn't the slowest, worst corner ever then I'm sure Pelini could use bump and run. It is a personel problem at this point, the corners are not good outside of Jackson IMO. We need a Jackson and Joseph starting at the corners.
re: The official "Send Pelini BACK to OU" thread - Old Thread I'm down, brother, 110 percent. It seemed as if Pellini was not aware of or familiar with the capabilities of his own personnel. We saw a very small number of blitzes during most of the game, sure. This would make more sense if Pellini got or expected to get a real push from his DL. This, of course, is something he did not get. I saw corners giving 10-plus yard cushions in coverage...when ASU had the ball inside of the LSU 35 yard line. WTF??????????? Strange, strange, strange, strange, strange. Oh, and the *offensive* play-calling on that last touchdown drive was atrocious...but that's another topic for another thread. Basically, I'm more relieved than glad right now. Not too, too worried about Tenn, but a team that can really toss it around the yard---like Florida---terrifies me to no end.
re: The official "Send Pelini BACK to OU" thread - Old Thread I disagree, our corners' are good they are just not being used correctly!
re: The official "Send Pelini BACK to OU" thread - Old Thread Hell, He's not coming back here. Good riddance. Send him back to Nebraska if you want. He's not welcome around here.
re: The official "Send Pelini BACK to OU" thread - Old Thread I believe I saw somewhere where OU averaged 22 interceptions a season under Stoops but when Bo came to OU last year they only got 8. What does that tell you? Miles has to tell him to shift to man to man or carry his ass. If he doesn't then it's Miles fault!
