So how many rushing yards will the Sun Devils get on Kyle and the boys? What's the over/under? I think this is one place where all the emotion and passion in this game will really show up for us.

I think we can hold them to around 100 yards rushing and keep heavy pressure on a relatively inexperienced Sam Keller all night, forcing 3-n-outs and turnovers, taking some of the pressure off our corners, and giving JR and the offense lots of time to find their groove and start clicking.

I also wouldn't be suprised to see a very focused and determined Ronnie Prude make a very early pick while the Sun Devil O-line is suffering from the initial shock and awe, leaving Keller with two options: take the sack or force the sub-optimal pass.

The new star running back is a freshman. He had something like 135 last week. I say we hold the team under 75. Force them to throw, and let Laron and the boys play receiver.

TigerinAustin, I'm hoping it was a typo...but it looks as if you may have hit the "0" twice on accident :hihi: :hihi:

Dont expect them to try for more than 100, dont expect them to get more than 50... ASU will be a pass-first team against LSU, and any run attempts will be stuffed, as their O-Line is made up of finesse blockers who excel in pass-blocking, not mauling on the run...

Yeah...135 vs Temple. Also, I believe ASU's O-line only averages 275. I don't think they can sustain an entire game trying to run the ball down our throats.

ASU's QB is a talent, but in all fairness, I don't think he's faced a defense quite like ours yet (remember, he's only started but a few games in his career).

 Touche! My sentiments exactly! Less than 25 yards after 3 quarters is my guess with only 2 rushing first downs. After that, it won't matter with the subs in there and LSU cruising.

The big question is, "Will Flynn & RP get to play"? I'll go out on a limb and say LSU will play both Matt & RP late in this game after the outcome is no longer in doubt. I can't wait.

I think we hold them to less than 85 on the ground. They're RB is all of 179LBs.
