Do classes starting have a direct effect on the relief effort in New Orleans? Do they cause a massive traffic jam on the highways? The game got cancelled because they hindered the relief effort. If you want to explain to me how classes starting would do that, please feel free, I'll agree with the decision if you do. And I pass by Coates every now and then, I'll look for the blow up doll.
b/c you KNOW that some arrogant college kid would snicker or holler something at an evacuee if they saw them at maddux or PMAC... it just dont blend! I do understand, and am sorry for coming on so hard, but all-in-all, LSU has made some GOOD decisions today
from what I heard the PMAC has become a Triage unit with Moore being the landing pad for airlifts. Anybody around there know if this is true?
i have also heard that our old friend Paul Farmer will come and try to care for patients in BR... he really enjoyed his trip last week and wants to help

...just adding to the link, not trying to hijack.... Southern and McNeese agreed to outright cancel their game scheduled for this Saturday in Lake Charles...if that gives any indication as to how the rest of the state feels about all of this. We are all devistated.:bncry:
