Here's your 2005 Mean Green Depth Chart. Their QB & OL is in serious trouble against LSU. Their OL is small & young (frosh centers, 2 starters return). Their QB has no experience. Byerly was 5-12, 73 yds, 0 TD, 0 INT in 2004. Their RBs won the rushing title in 2003 & 2004. :thumb: They will both play against LSU. Their WRs are led by Johnny Quinn 49 catches, 785 yards, 9 TD. The entire Defensive line is new as are their safeties. They have 1 decent cornerback left on a defense that allowed 414 yards and 30 points per game last year.

THAT SPELLS SERIOUS TROUBLE FOR NT!!!!!!!! Last year, Texas mauled a much better NT team by a score of 65-0 in the season opener.

It's hard to compare the two teams, but in 99 we beat them 52-0 and both teams are probably better now... I know LSU definately is. I honestly don't think there is anyway LSU is sloppy in the game. It's Miles' first game, the players will feed off of his emotion if nothing else... :geauxtige

I know expectations are high, here are mine!

    1. LSU holds NT rushing below 100 yards.
    2. LSU holds NT passing below 50 yards.
    3. LSU holds NT total offense below 150 yards.
    4. LSU has 2 interceptions against the freshman QBs.
    5. The Mean Green will not even score against LSU. Zip. Nada.
    6. The LSU offense will open up their passing attack early.
    7. LSU will balance pass and run about 35/35.
    8. LSU's offense exceeds 600 yards, nearing a school record.
    9. LSU plays 2 QBs in this game, Russell, the starter & Flynn.
    10. LSU QBs complete better than 70% of their passes.
    11. The rushing attack will be effective, but it's NT. Addai leads the rushers.
    12. Special Teams play will be flawless and without turnovers.
    13. LSU will get 5 turnovers while having one fumble, +4 turnover margin.
    14. LSU will score 60.
    15. LSU will unavoidably run up the score with subs in early and often.
    16. RP will not play in the game at QB, maybe another position.
    17. Cam Vaughn, Ken Hollis, & Ali Highsmith will see the most action with all linebackers seeing playing time. Spadoni will look decent and make a few plays
    18. Both safeties, Prude, Joseph & Jackson with all backups seeing action late.
    19. Arnold plays best & wins the starting job.
    20. LSU's pass rush up the middle will be devastating against freshman center

Who leads the WRs? Another question?

Will it be Buster, Bowe or Green. I'd guess Bowe as he'll get the most PT. LaFell would be good to see in action along with the rest of the corps.

I hope I survive this storm to see the havoc wreaked upon the SEC this year by LSU's passing attack. It's gonna take the SEC by storm. :champs: :crystal:
