today on the 5:00 sportscenter, they had a section on athletes in politics. James Carville (co-host of CNN's Crossfire) was one of the guests and he was wearing a LSU shirt.....so i went check out information on him, he was Born and raised in Carville, La.-a town named for his grandfather-he graduated from Louisiana State University with undergraduate and law degrees.

Believe it or not, Hubert Humphrey also graduated from LSU (law school). The very first class I ever attended at LSU (1973), David Duke sat down at the desk next to me. That was before all his plastic surgery. Ecch!
I know somebody who went to high school with Carville. Said he was as big an Ahole back then as he appears to be now on the talk shows. Seems one of his favorite tricks was to talk somebody into comitting some act of mischief and then rat them out so they got in trouble.
Carville spoke @ my LSU commencement. He and the wife (Mary Madelyn? I know I butchered the spelling if I got it right) both attended. Right during the pres campaign.....was quiet entertaining.
Funny couple the Carvilles...James was key in getting Clinton elected and yet his wife had been quoted comparing Clinton to slime...
I'd rather be at the table honestly........not cuz I like them but just because I am sure they eat food that is way better than the typical college guy diet I am used to........just sayin........
