how about a shockley!!!? lol, I think you guys took me too seriously, I think he'll do great here, but Im thinking it may have been in his best interest to get in during his freshman year and get signif pt and then take over his sophomore year.
Somebody explain this to me. Just about everyone here seems to think that we could go undefeated and win a national title (probably at worst we lose 2 games). Let's say Jamarcus starts all year and has a very good year. If that happens I can't really see any way that RP would see the field for 2 years...unless there is an injury or Jamarcus leaves early (IMO that is dobtful). I'm just curious how it will all turn out if RP is a junior before he gets any significant playing time.
precisely... but why is everyone just leaving matt flynn out of this? he could be the starter... two guys ahead of RP.... both could start... who says RP gets the job before they both leave?
maybe he just wanted to be a tiger above all, i know if i had the chance to sit the bench playing for lsu or be a starter at some other school i would just get my ass ready for the pine.
Maybe it's just me, but that doesn't exactly seem like RP's style. There could very well be some serious drama in 2 years if Jamarcus/Flynn have good LSU careers. And if they do then who cares what RP wants. It doesn't matter all that much since we will be getting outstanding QB play from someone else. I think the reason that it will be a controversy is that everyone just has a facination with seeing RP perform on that field.
true, I mean great school but it's your future... it's like betting with your heart instead of your head
FYI, Chris Simms only committed to Tenn. He never played there. He switched his commitment to Texas before signing day. I honestly don't care if Perrilloux was all-everything out of high school, this is the SEC and he has to earn it. If he can beat out two solid QBs this year then I think he should start, but until then, he has to earn it like everyone else.
I'm sorry, but I can't see any highly-recruited player willing to go to his "dream school" knowing that he's gonna sit the bench. He woulda gone to Miss St. if he thought that he'd never play at LSU. He's got a better shot here than at Texas vs. Vince Young.
hes gonna play, likely 2 years as a starter here. thank god he has better foresight than you. people like you go to miss st, hence the results.
