For you people with the dish. How often do you lose the signal? Do you really get all of the Fox sports channels? I'm buying a LCD tv this week and might just go ahead and dump cable. I just hope I can keep roadrunner for my internet service provider.

I have DirecTV, and Cox commercials and all saying that the signal goes out in a slight rain is greatly overstated. It only goes out if its pouring outside, and most of the time we don't lose it no matter how hard its raining. You have to buy the Sports package to get all of the Fox Sports channels, and you also get other regional sports channels like Comcast, NESN, and YES. Don't be fooled though, you still need to buy each sport's individual package (NFL Sunday Ticket, MLB Extra Innings) to be able to watch those games live. However, we get Rangers and Astros games for free over here. They also give one free NBA game a night.

 

Sorry, but I feel the need to bump this. It is ridiculous that we have FOX Southwest here.
