My brother played ball with a man by the name of Vick King... He was a stud... Went out and played at McNeese St. Some of you probably know him. Well he went to a couple of diff NFL teams, and played a couple games last year, and he went to Tennessee this year, and retired a couple of weeks ago, because he said his heart wasn't in it. But he and my bro were VERY tight, and Vick told him that steroids are EVERYWHERE and that they test, but that they are 3-4 drugs ahead of the testing... Meaning that the drugs they test for now are old school, and they are already on to 2-3 more new ones
I don't believe with what I have seeen that Bo knows steroids. From the interviews and/or documentaries I have seen this guy was the one in a million.
So is/was Lance. It's sad, but are the days of TRUE athletes done for? What the hell do kids have to look up to these days? This day and age is filled with "athletes" wanting instant gratification. Gone are the days of old where "one in a million" athletes actually were LEGIT. Now days if an athlete has a "decent" season... the youth doesn't care. They're all about X-Games and such--they want extreme stats... it's sad... but true.
Bo was a freak. No way I believe he was using steroids, that is, unless he was using them as a 6th grader :nope:
I know Bo personally and still see him on occassion. I assure you Bo never took steroids. I would bet the farm on it.
Bo would never have been able to star in two sports on roids. People on roids almost always suffer from ligament problems because their power developes too fast for their suspension. Bo was not only strong as an ox, but he was also healthy as one. I was watchign that game he got hurt in... that just sucked.. will there ever again be a guy who could possibly lead both the nfl and the mlb in scoring? probably not...
:hihi: Yeah, Proud Tiger from an internet message board will assure you Bo never took steroids. :hihi:
