Someone with CNNSI called Saban one of the best five football coaches on the planet...We should feel lucky that we had him for the period we did...

What?? I don't believe this for a second! No "undisputed national champion" would cry on an NFL practice field. :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis:

That looked like a walk in the park compared to some of the outbursts that we witnessed from Saban at games.

An update from the Miami Herald:

Since practice hadn't even started, there's no chance of him wiping away sweat from his face. So, those were real tears from pussboy, and if they were "tears of anger", then he's a jackass for not being able to follow simple direction and getting mad when he's (rightfully) admonished for it.

I also understand Saban running such a tight ship this year. When you have guys like David Boston and Ricky Williams on the team, you have to take a zero tolerance approach to insubordination or lack of focus.

Also, I finally saw the video (on ESPN.com) and Saban wasn't as pissed as he can be at times. I've heard many players say that, when really pissed, Saban does that "grab ass" thing where he kinda tugs on the back of his shorts while yelling.

Didn't see anything like that, though I'm sure it's not a 100% accurate predicter of how angry he is.

The SEC will miss Saban. He was a good one...loved his "zero bullsh!t" attitude. [IMG]

Yeah, he was definitely one of a kind. I'm a dolphins fan now. Dolphins vs. Saints....I'm not sure who I'd pull for.
