1. Nice use of the word 'smite'...rep pts to thy red and blue taffer.
  2. I haven't read this whole thread, but I haven't seen this mentioned.....

I think that there is also a very good chance that this guy recognized Chase and figured "Oh I can screw with him and act like Mr. Tough Guy because he is on the football team and will be scared to do anything that might get him in trouble."
  3. What is your point?
  4. My point is that perhaps that way of thinking made this guy much more brave than he otherwise may have been. So maybe he provoked Chase thinking, "He's not going to do anything to me anyway, so I can REALLY screw with him."

If that IS what happened then that would help Chase's case even more.
  5. I agree with what you are saying, but from my standpoint Chase is in a serious situation because this is an eyewitness disaster.

It really pisses me off when kids do this crap - we've been so clean and so focused for too long to have a Longhorn transfer come in and be a problem. Telling the cops the victim "got what he deserved" doesn't help much either.

Another Evangel kid potentially on the road to Tiger lore...
  6. I think a head butt would have been a lot more vicious...
  7. ESPN has picked it up:

  8. I think that this is a reach, to say the least. You don't go pushing your luck w/ 6'4" 270 pound guys, football player or not.
  9. Unless you are stupidly drunk, or stupid AND drunk!
  10. Would it matter to anyone's opinion if Pittman didn't know the girl, didn't witness the incident but based on another person accounting he pursued the guy outside the bar where he hit him then kicked him after he lay on the ground unconscious? Just a question because I have no clue as to what the facts are but this is what a poster named Speedy (who claims to be a B.R. policeman) posted on TigerBait.com
