Ganter retired and JoePa went out and replaced him with Galen Hall, another oldie... out of all the "O" minds in America, he picks 'Ol Galen.... figures.
Given JoePa's been coaching since the Civil War, you'd think he'd have ONE assistant that went on to greater coaching fame... I can't think of nary a one... and that's a shame.
Take Hayden Fry, for example... he has a legacy of former players and assistants now doing great things.... the head coaches at Iowa, Iowa State, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Arizona, South Florida, Western Illinois, etc. are all former "disciples". This tells me a lot about JoePa's EGO!!

Hard to believe someone could be worse than Brooks. I almost feel sorry for the UK football fans here in the Bluegrass. You would think they would learn from the basketball team (some of us call it the "best team money can buy!)

Most of the PSU fans wanted the old man to retire 5 years ago.........

I'm sure most of the Big 10 loves seeing Paterno on the sidelines. :thumb:

Is it true he caught the football field on fire while glancing down on a shiny day?
