What is this? The 3rd projected starter they won't have this season? They could lose Leinart and Bush, but the media won't care.
I want all of their best players fully healthy so that when we beat them in the Rose Bowl they will have no excuses.
For Byers and their wide receiver, Dwayne Jarrett (sp), it came down to Iowa or fUSC during recruiting for both of them... and they both chose fUSC. So, without a mean bone in my body, it's one down, one to go!!
It was down to OSU and USC for Jarrett, he almost commited to UVA at one point too, I don't think Iowa was that much of a player for Dwayne.
Now I gotta go look stuff up again... he was very high on tOSU near the end, but made comments about not fitting into their offense. He was also very high on Iowa, thinking he could come right in and start. As I remember, his USC visit was very late... they weren't even on the radar for a long time. I'm pretty sure on his final weekend he had moved tOSU out of the picture.
You may be right, I remembered him almost commiting to UVA, and then I went and looked him up on his Rivals profile and saw 'Jarrett picks USC over Ohio State' as his last update, so that is what I was going on there.
But if their starters, or projected starters, are to go down, then they should go down now that way we can still be able to point out that if they are so good, like they claim to be, then they should have had more than enough time to find/develop a replacement--especially since they've been bragging about all that depth they have. You would think that their #2 guy would be a starter at 95% of the schools across the country.... :dis:
