    It doesn't matter one bit what the tribe wants, because the Left will impose Political Correctness upon us all, whether we want it or not.

    In the Left's view, the nickname should be changed, regardless of whether real Seminoles want the change or not. To the Left, the expressed wish of the Seminole Tribe is completely irrelevant.

    The illustrious Board of Regents at Iowa passed a resolution a few years ago that the Hawkeyes would no longer play any team with an Indian name (unless they were in the Big Ten, i,e, the Illini), which means we can not play FSU in a bowl game.

    It's probably the dumbest thing we have ever done. I will forward this article to the school... perhaps it can be step one in reversing our stance. Thanks for the Info.

    So if the Seminole tribe doesnt find the use of their name offensive then who did?

    The same people who are always crying about things that will never have any kind of an impact on them. They are just looking for a way to express their "constitutional rights" and trying to make the world a better place for all of us to live. :confused:

    until the world stops using the word "gyped" or sterotypes Italians in mafia movies or has the Irish constantly drunk in any portrayals of them, etc., the NA's can go watch a Redskins game for all I care...
