One of the SEC's best baseball coaches leaving for the BigXII?

I get really bored during the day so I love visiting other sites to see what is up on a few subjects...especially some of our rival links.

Well, I went over to the South Carolina site and see Tanner, the baseball HC, is now possibly interested in not only the A&M job but the Oklahoma job?

Rumors of USC not giving him the raise A&M is offering and such....

I could only imagine Bertman wanting a raise after another NC and LSU not giving it to him. Granted, Tanner hasn't won a NC at USC he has made them an Elite SEC team, imo.

I think the OU job is a better gig than a$m (I love puns, sorry). a$m has to content with Texas, Rice, Baylor, Houston, and Texas Tech for talent that LSU and Tulane hasn't signed. The farmers baseball complex, fairly new, isn't anything special. OU, besides having a ton of cash, really only has fend off Wichita State for talent. Oklahoma State has been religated to Canadians. I'd be thrilled to see Tanner take off. South Carolina could go hire an ex-gator coach for baseball. I miss ol' Whisky Joe Arnold and his binge induced tirades!
