Well, I really don't know how to explain how we won the tournament, but I guess you just mark it up to 'you just never know'. Anyway, I hope all the SEC teams do great in regional play, expect for ole sissy. For some reason, I just can't pull for those guys, but, they do have a good team. I hope you guys take care of business this weekend. I sure would love to see 4-5 SEC teams in the CWS. I don't know how we will stack up against Miami, but I really think it was about the best draw we could have gotten. Anyway, good luck the rest of the way.

Pitching always wins games and MSU had it this weekend.

Where that pitching was most of the year is a mystery to me

Because coaches of teams who are NCAA locks don't give a damn. All the conference tournament does is screw up your rotation.

I don't think it screws up the rotation as much as u think. What it does do it helps you find another starter for the regionals, if you happen to lose a game, and the CWS.

If you don't know who your Game 4 starters are by the time the conference tournament rolls around, you are in trouble.

That's like trying to develop a golf swing on the driving range while warming up before a round.

Let me assure you of one thing. When the Rebs and Dogs play, it matters. It's personal and, believe me, Ole Sissy didn't want to lose to us in that situation. They can say what they want, but they didn't. Now, I don't know about Smoke. Maybe he doesn't care; I can't answer that, but I bet he did.

Maybe that is what is wrong with my golf swing!:thumb:

But who is our #4 starter? It seems like we have seen a different person pitch in every mid-week game with no consistency.

I'm sure everybody wants to win once they take the field but things like resting starters, etc come into play. I'm not implying that anyone lays down.
