Jon Kaplan. Nobody else is even close.

A very distant second would be David Eckstein of Florida.

I remember at the super regionals in '03 when kaplan was up to bat, there was a lull in the crowd and someone shouted 'kaplan, stand up!' I nearly had a heart attack from laughing so hard. That dude was definitely king as$face. Worthless.

Since I wasn't on TF at that time and was in my own little Tiger World here in Oklahoma, what did Kaplan do (or what was it about him) that made him so disliked?

He was just a cocky, arrogant little sh*t who played center field for Tulane.
The fact that he hit about .900 against us with about half of his career home runs and stolen bases coming against us didn't endear him to too many Tiger fans, either. :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire

John Bond, QB, Miss State.....wait, that's football....no matter, still hate that sumbitch. :cuss:

Will Clark didn't seem to have any fans at the Box. Everybody viewed him as a traitor. And he was a little cocky. And, they were so damned good and had the top program at the time. That bunch was easy to hate.

    Derek Lilliquist was pretty cocky.

Bo Jackson was a fan favorite. The guy was just too cool. The fans were getting on him about his wrong-way run in the previous Iron Bowl. His response was to run to the wrong position when they took the field the next inning, then sprint to his correct position. Fans loved it. At the Box, I have never seen anyone cover the 90 ft between home and first faster than he did.

This was a pic from Kappy's last gameduring the regionals at LSU... his team was getting SHELLED and as you see... he was slightly pissed at us for giving him the business... he even threw his glove on the ground :hihi:

I keep on hearing about Joey, and how everyone dislikes him. I know he was a jerk and was probably on the juice, but care to enlighten someone who was probably in like 1st grade as to what he did so bad while at LSU?

I also believed that he had a propensity for gesturing to opposing fans and trying to show up the other team. I believe he also flipped off the Tiger dugout when rounding third after hitting a home run. He was just a classless loser, or what you've come to expect from tulame.

    He was a pouter.
He didn't run out ground balls.
He threw temper tantrums in the dugout.
He lost his cool and went after some fans who were taunting him.
    Otherwise, a helluva talent.
