Very true....along with the 35+ pts. a game we should see some 300 yards per game. But that all depends on the arm of the qb no matter who it is. We cannot have a qb that throws the ball at the feet of a receiver or 4 ft. over the head of a wide open receiver when he tries to put some touch on the ball (IE JR in the Oregon game last year). Don't take me wrong I do hope that JR puts it all together like we want him to and be the qb this year that we all thought he would be when he came to LSU.

I do agree with what you're saying. But the Oregon St. game was JR's first game EVER. He came into the game down 9-0. The defending champs, down 9-0, at Tiger Stadium. That's a lot to ask of a kid to come in in that kind of situation. And while, he made some bad passes, overall he played just fine ,and led us to the comeback.

Some people only rmeember the bad passes, some only remember the good ones. There is a QB in the world that hasn't had many bad passes in his career if he has thrown a bunch of them.
