Jeez... screw the Northeners! Can you imagine sitting at The Box in the middle of the summer?! It's bad enough this time of the year. I can't imagine how bad Omaha would be July/August.... the beginning of June is already torture. They may not have the humidity, but dang it's hot over there in the summer! And... who cares if college baseball isn't as popular as football or baseball. That's a GOOD thing. Look what the media has done to NCAA football with the BCS crap, and not to mention ESPN's shenanigans... Wooden bats? Sheesh! That metal ping has become part of the great atmosphere... The smell of freshly cut grass, children laughing and playing, the nice warm sunshine..and that great PING!
