1. But who would get the bats after a basehit? ;)
  2. Texas redshirt freshman pitcher Adrian Alaniz no-hit the Sooners in Norman a week or so ago. He was one walk shy of a perfect game.
  3. There are 30 girls but they are broken down into 3 teams of 10.
This allows the girls to work 1 weekend game each series and a few midweek games throughout the season.
Remember these girls do not get paid or any special treatment in the forms of early registration or university excuses for missing class or an assignment.

Those 30 girls are volunteers and do a lot more than pick up bats.
  4. Pictures guys, pictures. :)
  5. I'm not sure what you mean by new. The LSU Bat Girls have been around since the 80s.
  6. You don't know how true that is!!
  7. New as in "this is what is termed 'legal' by the new NCAA rules". The diamond dolls weren't on the field or anything...it's just different kinds of groups/clubs whatever.
  8. They can't be involved with recruiting but they can still do other things around the program. LSU's version of what you are referring to were the TigerGals or BenGals. A wonderful group of girls that Saban really liked. He was very disappointed when the NCAA outlawed them ecause of a few rogue schools using them for sex.
