Agree on both counts. Tigers hit the ball well this weekend, especially Sat. off of a pitcher that was almost untouchable before then. A lot of hit and runs over the weekend, Smoke got tossed, big hits by both Harris brothers, Jackson was very good again. Hopefully this will continue, congrats to the boys for pulling themselves off of the mat.
Smoke showed a little bit of fire and intensity this weekend. That's beautiful. We need him to get these boys up for the stretch run. We beat a relatively mediocre team this weekend...but a SEC team, nonetheless. And a well-coached one, at that. Hopefully, this could be the spark that ignites this team and propels them into the postseason.
Just got back from the game, looks like the actual attendence was around 4000 and lively. Agree with everyone that Will Harris is coming around smith looked good, and the overall team batting has certainly improved. Smoke most have stocked up on Red Bull, b/c he showed more energy throughout the series.
