Why are so many schools claiming B.S. football "titles"?

    As a child, I was never allowed to claim something I was not awarded. Doesn't matter how hard I tried or how well I did. An undefeated season is a great accomplishment but claiming a championship is just being a sore loser.

    It would not be a flawed system if hypoctitical coaches wouldnt go against the system THEY VOTED for! :)

    And BTW being you so eager to talk about the 10-9...

    How did you do in the Men's SEC tourny?

    Nick Saban said many times that had the balls been reversed, that he would have accepted USC as the sole champion, and would have been content with SEC Champion!

    It is amazing how a classy coach can make stuff work!

    In actuality, you lost that game. It's clear that the refs made a mistake. It's unfortunate that the current rules are so bad that no remedy is available, save LSU simply declaring us to be the actual game winners.

    We will have T-shirts made to commemorate the ruling.

    PS You are a Sad Sack of sh*t to continue your weak attempt to antagonize us with your "10-9" BS. I'd ban you for being such an ass on our board.

    PSS A one-point loss is nothing to be ashamed of in football, anyway.

    Hey, it's not our fault the officials gave your kicker another shot at the extra point...right? Just like it's not Auburn's fault that the BCS crowned USC national champions? The officiating (just like the system) was flawed...therefore, all bets are off, and I declare LSU the winner.

    The moral of this little exercise: Just because I (or you) claim or declare something, doesn't make it so. So endeth the lesson.

    I mean....the People's Championship Committee in Baton Rouge decided that we did.

    Yeah, nevermind the 4th and 12 conversion and the 3rd and 12 TD. Talk about sore losers...
