You Tiger fans show just how classy you really are. There have been a few lingering Bayou Bengals on the Hawkeye board recently defending Iowa against Illinois fans, OSU fans and other fans who have nothing better to do than flame on our board. I just wanted to say thank you once again for being the classiest group of fans I have ever run across in my 26 years on this earth. Unless we ever meet on the gridiron, or basketball court, or whatever field you choose, I now bleed purple and gold as well as black and gold.
Thanks for the kind words and I think ya'll earned the respect of most LSU fans as well. Your coach is one of the best in the business(top 3 or 4 for sure) and maybe we'll meet up again real soon(say the '06 Rose Bowl).
No offense to Missouri Hawk, but I dont care who we play in the Rose Bowl next year so long as we make it :hihi::hihi::hihi::hihi::hihi::crystal::lsup: But Iowa fans were pretty nice in Orlando, and it really seemed like they out-traveled LSU down there. Thats what i was impressed with the most.
Did anyone else think the Illinois fans were awful at the Sugar Bowl? Was it just me? They were really awful before, during, and after...
Once again...I hope we make the Rose Bowl...not only because it's the NC next year, but, B10 schools hold a special place in their hearts for the Rose Bowl. If you'll remember, probably not, but bear with me as I reminisce, Brad Banks had a rose in his mouth at the end of the Minnesota game in 2002...NOT A DAMN ORANGE. We'll be extremely fired up just to play in the Rose Bowl...I'd love to play you guys again, but I'd almost rather it not be you. Wouldn't want to break your hearts two years running...:yelwink2: .
