the announcer said that nothing has been called at both ends the last few minutes. I disagree, they called everything at Ky's end and not anything at LSU's end. That comes with home cooking... LSU played better than I thought they would with some of the earlier results from the year but those guys just looked tired to me the second half, especially Davis and Bass. This team has no way, at least today to get the ball inside to the big men. This game would've been a lot closer if they could've cut down their turnovers. points off of to's were 23 to 13 in Kentucky's favor. We could've used some help down the stretch if we had a bench. Kid from Texas Tech and other kids that left Louisiana for other basketball programs. Maybe even some of the ones that left the program, that was also a recruiting problem as well as a coaching issue I guess. Recruiting problem, Shawnee Johnson and other kid from Utah JC we were courting until he got in trouble, should never go after problems like that! Also look at Kentuckys shot selection vs LSU's, they had a lot better shots which also has to do with coaching
I don't think too many people thought the Tigers would win, I don't know if they even thought they could win, just wanted us to play hard with some intensity on defense, and play smart on offense, and handle the ball. At least give yourself a chance to win. Bring on lefire:
I wouldn't even say they played well in the first half. They turned the ball over by making countless passes into coverage. They fell behind by 20 in the first half, so they were playing like crap even before they could blame it on fatigue.
why is it that Kentucky has no problem passing from the arch to the paint on us, but we throw it 'around' the arch and then throw up a prayer most of the time.
