I was gonna add that the main difference was Reed had to make an acrobatic catch while keeping his one foot in bounds. Still don't know how he managed to do it. One of the best catches of all time.
the biggest difference between reggie bush and skyler green is that bush is put in a position to suceed.. he has plays designed specifically to get him the ball.. green needs those.. thats where he finds his success.. on a screen pass.. on a reverse.. on special teams.. and especially out of the slot.. he isnt a #1 or #2 guy.. he is a specialist..
his hand placement is more amazing. barely on his fingertips and he hangs on while falling backwards. decent catch. :thumb: :thumb:
Skyler is awesome... too bad he was injured to start the season Lets just hope that next year all of the players come out 100%
I would say a completely healthy Skyler Green is just as good as reggie bush. Bush probably has a little edge in the top end speed, but a healthy Skyler has just as good or better moves.
Here's another one of him catching a somewhat "overthrown" pass at home....was ruled out of bounds later though...
It was indeed a great catch, but IMO he isn't the best receiver we have. That's a bit of a stretch. Green is awesome in the open field, but at times his hands are still suspect.
