Does anyone belong to LSU's Insiders or Rivals sites?

Just curious as to what you all thought of them....

I just wanted to know if the money that the sites cost are worth it.

I have talked to several friends of mine whom have both Insiders/Rivals accounts and they like it but don't love it so I couldn't really get a straight answer from them.

I joined Rivals 6 months ago. I like it. To me its worth the money, But I am a recruiting freak, cant get enough info. Recruiting season is almost over though, you may be better off waiting til next year. Rivals offers the first month free...at least they did when I signed up.

If you like to read lots of info on recruits and keep up with their every move and thought, it may be worth the money. If you are looking for general insight into the LSU program you get the same "insider" stuff (this guy I know who is close to the program says its a done deal, you can book it, its a lock)that you can find on any LSU board. I used to be on rivals but to me it wasn't worth the money.

I would say rivals is definitely worth the money if you like recruiting and some good inside stuff.

Like the others said if you like to read up on the recruits it is a dollar well spent, if you like seeing how other teams are doing in their recruiting w/o going to opposing boards all the time is is a good source also. I belonged to both but dropped Rivals and stayed with TigerRag as since Sonny came back I enjoyed his info more. If you are interested only in getting quick scoops than I would say you may not like it.

If you like watching video of great high school players it's well worth it.

    Belong to both...

If you like recruiting updates and like to read about other college teams as I do, it is worth the money. I have fun going to the sites of our competitors before and after every game...also, informative during recruiting. Rivals is much better than Insiders. I sent a lot of nasty emails to TigerRag(Insiders) because last year, their updates were way behing schedule; I think they wanted to tease you on the internet and then sell you their magazine. Also, the participation at all Insiders team sites is not nearly as much as with Rivals. However, Insiders seems to be better at reporting recruiting updates. Hope this helps.

    Thanks everyone.

My friend is a Florida fan and he loves the Insiders board over their Rivals board but outside of that, everyone says to go Rivals for LSU and others.
