UGA pretty much knew that Thurman and Davis were gone after this season.

Davis has yet to announce, but his replacement is Tra Battle.

Crowder is kind of a surprise. I wonder if Charlie Strong is staying at Florida?

Too bad Thurman is leaving....now he gets to abuse his girlfriend while being in the NFL.

sticking with UGA them, here is a good time to point out that Charles Grant has played at All-Pro form the last 3rd of the season. very impressive.

on another note, thanks jonathan sullivan.

Thurman was suspended for three games at the beginning of the year. I am not sorry that he is gone. Davis I will miss.

Only problem with Davis is that he can't cover worth a lick.

I am not sure how that can be fixed at the NFL level though as he is the best open-field tackler I have seen in awhile.

People say that Roy Williams was never that great of a cover man either (that may not be true at all though....I just remember hearing that) yet he is damn good at the NFL level

There has been talk that he will be drafted as a linebacker. That was what he was originally. I think he can handle that kind of coverage assignment and I think he would be pretty effective on certain blitz packages because he seems to be able to almost always hit his target.
