That is the offense Norm Chow would have brought to Baton Rouge

Is/was Chow even interested in the LSU or any HC position?

Chow really wanted the Stanford job and was very disappointed when he didn't get it.

Chow's got a Heisman Trophy winning QB at USC. He would have to recruit one at LSU. I'm not sure that Norm's brilliant offensive mind would help JR, Flynn perhaps.

Bringing the Jockey and leaving Secretariat in the barn will not get the Triple Crown. USC has a thoroubred at every position. There are not many players on the Oklahoma team that could replace their counterpart on the USC team.

Chow very much wants to stay on the West Coast. He had no interest in coming here, and I doubt we were interested in bringing him in.

We didn't consider him, he wasn't a sitting HC. He would have considered, if not come here...he went to NC State and was prepared to stay - but the USC job came available.

Chow has told people for years now that he can't stand having to deal with all the HC's responsibilities....that is why he has turned down so many jobs.....I have a sneaking idea that if he went to a huge program like ours...he wouldn't last long
