I've got a sneaking feeling that this whole "LSU officials did not interview with JDR" is a smokescreen. All parties want to keep it on the down low until after the Jags game on Sunday. This is just my opinion, but my guess is that they did meet with him today, he's agreed in principal to be the head coach, and everybody's got their story straight that he didn't interview today, so as not to be a distraction to either our game tomorrow or the Jags game on Sunday. Or it could just be wishful thinking. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
I would think if they are going to meet with JDR, it would be Monday at the earliest. No reason to get his team or their media in a frenzy before a game they must win if they have any shot. That would be bad form on LSU and JDR's part. Besides, the TP story that talked about a JDR interview mentioned Monday or later as the target date for the meeting anyway. The ESPN story never said they went to Jax to meet Del Rio I don't believe, they just said both sides denied a meeting took place.
Weak. tap water. he might be great, he might be sorry, but you're argument is the equivilant to asking miss Cleo.
