I'm with Marine on this one. I think Nick realized what he has and has accomplished in Baton Rouge and all the support he's received really helped. Oh yeah and Mrs. Saban played a big part too. We'll find out in 3 1/2 hrs.

If anyone sees the players coming off the plane, you'll know. He would tell them before the PC (ie, en route). If they're hootin and howlin, we'll know he stays. Send Snorton to MCO right away !!!!!!

    I hope he stays, but:

    :eek:ldskule:
In my opinion, he is announcing to the team (when they are all together, keep in mind, not all of them took the flight and are meeting at team hotel). They usually have a team meeting when everyone checks in. This is my past experience being with a team that went to a Bowl game.

I think he wanted to tell them in person he is accepting the Dolphins job, MY OPINION!

It makes sense, he told W.H. he needed 24-48 hrs to make up his mind. Why do you think Sexton and Saban met with Skip? I believe to hammer away to resignation process.

Guys, he and his family are setup up for the rest of their lives. Wife and daughter if mad can certainly get over it quickly.

If he fails, he has the NFL pension and the ownership, and all that cash.

He can always get back to college coaching. All UK fans see it this way. As an UK and LSU fan in Lexington see it this way as well.
    :sob:

I am just stating how sorry I am for the other teams who will now have to deal with Saban for many more years. :thumb:

Wonder why ESPN said Sexton and Saban were holding out

This could explain why W.H. flew into B.R. yesterday. I bet something was worked out. Still, NFL pension is nothing to sneeze at. I know a lot of NFL veterans, and it is something that, I, wish could obtain. I know you have to have 3 year min. to get it, but I am willing to bet, Nick had something worked in that contract.

Still think he is waiting to tell the team as a whole unit in the ballroom in that team hotel his intentions. I have a feeling it is he is pursuing his dream to be an NFL head Coach and go after the Lombardi Trophy. :thumb:
