I hate to say this, but I never weighed in...I applaud the effort, Brett, even if I did enjoy the photos themselves... I will also say this...JSRacingSF or whatever his name had a photo up of a girl with her skirt up reaching into her drawers that crossed every line in the book...That kind of stuff has no business on this site...
Thank you Brett for finally addressing this issue. As a father of two very young boys, it is nice that I can finally come to the board and not have to worry about what they might see. If you notice, my visits haven't been as frequent due to this very problem. Once the holidays are over (and thus the continous sucking sound of my bank account...we have to buy everyone in my wife's family a gift :cry: ) I will become a contributor.
While the site wasn't blocked by my company I would not view it on my work computer because someone may see the pictures and get the wrong idea. I travel almost 100% of the time, now I will be able to use Tigerforums more. Great job Brett!!!
I heard that Brett met with a Miami Dolphin fan forum this morning to discuss their moderator vacancy. Brett's wife really wants him to stay on Tigerforums, but the Dolphins are offering him free dry cleaning and unlimited bandwidth for life. I expect a decision in the next few days. He is refusing to comment and he says he wants everyone to focus on the discussions at hand... I have an inside source! This is not BS...
Brett's policy is both sound and fair, fellers. Everybody needs to re-read their User Agreement from time to time. Brett has never had a quick finger on the ban button, but a few folks around here have pushed the limits for a long time. I'd rather Brett to just nuke repeat offenders than to get frustrated by them. Meanwhile the moderators have license to delete violations and you can expect it will be done.
I agree. Brett, you own the forum. You make the rules. If anyone has a problem with that, they can hit the road. If you have other more pressing matters taking up your time, give one of the moderators full authority to enforce your rules. Pick a badass who won't take any crap. I get concerned when I sense that you are tired of peoples' BS and just want to chuck the whole forum. Rest assured it's a minority and most of us are grateful for your efforts.
I don't think Tirk has posted since the hammer came down. Maybe he's starting his own porno site. Time for that boy to make some money for them pics, cuz they are nice.
I can assure you the moderators are keeping a close eye on the going ons now, and have the necessary power to do what is necessary pending the circumstances. This site is a great deal, a heaven send for LSU fans and visitors from other teams. Our goal is and will be to keep it that way. :thumb:
