Guys lets not make this personal. Do you know what a domino effect is? Blanco is a knife in LSU's back.

I simply thought he was a die hard Democrat without exception - nothing personal...

    Let's not make this political

are you really going to tell me that Saban is going to leave LSU because of politician who will be up for re-election in 3 years? Give me a break.

I am a democrat (though I did vote for Jindal) and I don't appreciate people always making the political connection to sports. YES I AM A LIBERAL AND YES I LOVE LSU ALSO, THE TWO HAVE VIRTUALLY NOTHING TO DO WITH EACH OTHER.

One of the things i like so much about LSU is that, at least for a few saturdays each year the community can come together and not be black/white, democrat/republican, rich/poor, young/old, or anything else used to divide us, we are all just tigers.

Personally I blame Milton Berle. If he had not been entertaining back in his day, perhaps Kathleen Blanco's parents would not have been in such a great mood to conceive a child. But next I don't blame KB. I blame the tire producing industry. Why? I don't know, we just need a red herring. Then maybe Governor Blanco.

But seriously, to blame the governor soley for this is ridiculous. Saban is going to leave us eventually, lord only knows when.

Its pretty rediculous to say that all of this is Blanc0's fault, but I do feel that she is not helping LSU move forward. She questions O'keefe's education? Who the hell is she to question anybody's education or intelligence? She would like to see ULL, SLU, La Tech... whatever other schools that are currently in LSU's shadow become larger universities and not have LSU dominate. I don't disagree, if other universities can become better, good for them. But not at the expense of LSU - quit cutting LSU's funding B*#CH!!! Fortunately, I don't see Blanco winning a re-election.

Anyone care to espouse a list of Louisiana residents using this forum and who they voted for governor?

    I'll be the first.

    1) TigerRagAndrew - Bobby Jindal

I agree, and I think venicedog was bold but somewhat accurate also. :)
