Minnesota can't win the big games either.

    Oct 9 at Michigan L, 27-24
    Oct 16 at Michigan State L, 51-17
    Oct 30 at Indiana L, 30-21
    Nov 6 at Wisconsin L, 38-14
    Nov 13 vs Iowa L, 29-27

    They beat pretty much nobody:
    Sep 4 vs Toledo W, 63-21
    Sep 11 vs Illinois State W, 37-21
    Sep 18 at Colorado State W, 34-16
    Sep 25 vs Northwestern W, 43-17
    Oct 2 vs Penn State W, 16-7
    Oct 23 vs Illinois W, 45-0

The Indiana loss bothers me most to Dumbdardo.

    No thanks, once again.

He won ten games last year and the Sun Bowl and given the handicaps--a crappy domed stadium, fan apathy, and the fact that the fans are starting to turn on him, he has done a great job. He has rebuilt programs at Kent State, Kansas, and Minnesota. He's a veteran coach who can win. Just give the guy the tools, LSU can provide.

    Exactly...

I think if Saban left that we would get Butch Davis.

The only problem with Davis is his desire to take off a year from coaching.

Of course, if he right job comes along, e.g. LSU, then who knows maybe all bets are off.

Butch would be a solid pick no doubt.

I think Butch is burnt out and needs some time off. Maybe if Nick leaves after next season. We can nit pick every coach out there. I just hope we don't have to talk about this for a long time.

The thing is, my step-dad is a Dolphins fan and he is LOVING the fact that Saban may come to the Dolphins. Last night he showed me a article about Saban and the Dolphins thing thinking that I would be upset about it and I was like oh well, we'll get somebody. It'll take more than Saban to turn around that team.

Well.. It all depends on how you look at it. Weekly press conferences for instance..... Which would you rather hear speak?

  9. SabanFan....especially since TE's weekly press conference would last the WHOLE week. :hihi:
