Besides Self proving on the court that he's a much better coach than WW, there's another huge distinction between the two. Self is holding up a national championship trophy and WW is holding a ticket with a number on it, waiting for his number to called so he can claim his unemployment and food stamp benefits!
if you hate rich philanthropists thats your business. and if you want to contract players such that they cant work, thats your business as well. i want people to use the university as a way to become an earner that can provide for their family. if you want them unedcated and flippin burgers, then good for you.
WW may have been paid that much, but he clearly did not earn it. With a large percentage of his salary going to pay players, it's very likely he's pinching pennies and will be on food stamps in a few months. Reports are circulating that WW just purchased a '85 Yugo and its sitting on blocks in front of his trailer. He's planning on buying the tires when his first government check comes in! WW is living the high life!
