I think this is a huge pick up. Were on our way to a yet another top 5 recruiting class........unbelievable!

 

I dont mean to be a wet blanket or anything guys but I dont expect the top 5ish thing to continue till signing day. I have no doubt that the quality of the guys we get will be up to par (i.e. awesome) as our last few classes have been but we are very limited on numbers of schollys available. Nick said the other day that we are only going to be able to get 15-17 guys this year as opposed to the 28-30 we have signed (not netted) in recent years. In other words, we will almost assuredly be surpassed by many teams as they get their full allotment of signees this year. Anything in the neighborhood of the top 25 recruiting classes will be a good year for us this year.

 

Tell me about it....most teams would kill for the guys we are having to turn away.

 

I dont know.....probably 10-12 of those 17 will be four stars or higher. 12 four star players will almost certainly clinch a top 5 spot.

 

It is crazy that 3 guys we did not have scholarships for signed with Auburn. Numbers are definitely tight.

 

And you know they'd come in a heart beat if we had room.

 

its a possibility, i hope that happens.
