Wrot had one F'n H3LL of a game. 2 sacks 6 Tackles including 3 for neg. yardage and a forced fumble. Look for him to be the man next year! I say Lavalais b/c I don't have no one to compair him to this year.
The whole D-Line this year has played excellent outside of Oliver. I know they won't be all be on the team, but Spears, Williams, and Wroten are all playing at an all-SEC level.
I wonder what Kyle Williams has to do to get the credit he truly deserves? Any reason he in the invisible man a majority of the time even though he makes play after play?
If you believe that you must have missed most of the season. Williams has been very good throughout the year and great for the opening few games. Spears was good the first part of the year and then great the second part. Wroten was not a factor for the opening few games, was good for a few and has had one great game. Claude appears to be getting better but I will wait to see how he does with the lines from Bama, Ole Miss and Arkansas before annointing him anything instead of basing my thoughts on his play vs Vandy and Troy.
I think the biggest thing will be to see who replaces Spears, and if anyone is going to knock off Oliver for the other spot. No doubt teams are running more to Oliver's side this year. I am really pleased with Claude's progress this year and we should be really deep at DT next year with Dorsey, Charles Alexander and Carnell Stewart. It will be open competition at DE next year, but I am hoping Kirston and Oliver get better this year.
Kirston Pittman has looked good in 3rd down situations, if he can add a little weight then I think he will be fine at the other DE spot next year. Sean Merrill, Brian West and even Tremaine Johnson and Tim Washington will provide depth. DE should be a solid, but not spectacular position next year.
