I was not there but I do know who was hit and people with him. I hate to say it but football players aren't always provoked and they are not perfect angels even though we'd like to think they are. Nothing will come of this though because the guy loves LSU football and doesn't want to mess anything up.
There was another fight going on and apparently E.J. felt threatened by a 150 lb. guy enough to punch him in the face although neither one was involved in the other fight just looking on as some of their acquaintances messed around.

I don't know all of the details (except the excerpts from this board), but in general, it seems that there are people out there that will provoke athletes... One of those "Yeah, Mr. Football player thinks he's bad--but watch....."
Wouldn't suprise me if someone mouthed off to him about the beating the team took at Georgia. But then again, who knows... If someone did start something with him, they had it comming. Why not go pick on a member of the golf team instead?? :rofl:
...or if you're going to fight a player on the team, they might have wanted fight Chris Jackson or Ryan Gaudet instead.
