There's a pool room/sports bar that we can try. Nice place, but extremely limited seating, and as a rule they only serve pizza and chicken wings. But I'm told sometimes on LSU game nights, the owner comes in and cooks special. Some other places I'm going to check out.
I'm down to 20 of the 27 with 12 of them involving some fairly serious coding. I'll know after the meeting Monday.
I hear ya...but these are online marketing campaigns that are scheduled to launch the first Monday of September. The only stress involved is my being pissed off the guy they hired to do the work did such a piss poor job.
C'mon you still have 3 weeks, start burning the midnight oil, put your shoulder to the grindstone, your ear to the ground (just don't try to work in that position!) and if all that fails do what I used to do, DELEGATE.
I work nights by choice (so I don't have to deal with many people) so burning the midnight oil is a bit redundant, don't you think? I'm 'technically' off right now...surfing around, watching Mindhunter on Netflix, and working through code. So, burning the _________? I'm doing my damndest ... but unfortunately can't pull another developer off their schedule. Gotta a lot of 'effin hats, my friend.
Why don't you bring that 1 iron to Atchafalaya on the 21st so we can all gasp in amazement at you smacking 320 yard drives with it.
