1. Anyone think anything has changed around the Perrilloux camp now that the season is underway? I know Saban spoke with him last week and his soft verbal to Texas isn't keeping any of the LSU staffers away. Also, there has been a lot of discussion lately about extending the eligibility for college players to 5 years - I wonder which class will start this if it passes - will current players be grandfathered - and I wonder if it would have any impact on Perrilloux's decision...

    Vince Young (UT Starting Freshman) is 25 of 43 for 303 passing yards, 3 TD's, 0 Int's, 105 Rushing Yards, 140.0 Rating 2 games into the season. Keeping an eye on this...

  3. i think he just means in general. the higher ups toss it about like they did with the BCS beforehand. talk about it for decades before deciding.
  4. I thought the 5 year rule was concerning only basketball, since they are hurt most by players leaving early.

    I bet our fans, 75% of whom left before the game, made a HUGE impression on Ryan Perrilloux and the other recruits.

    If you left early you missed Xavier Carter turning on the jets, and Benne catching a pass with confidence. You also did the coaching staff a disservice by showing empty seats to impressionable high school recruits.
