1. i would think the extra loss Ohio State has was also a big factor.
or at least it should have played some role in it.

  4. So we agree. Actually hard to dispel Bama's legitimacy.
  5. Only for you

    Slick
  6. not really.
i can make valid arguments for or against any of the 3 teams gunning for that last spot.

of course i’m not a big fan of anyone below spot #2 getting in. said so before we went to 4 teams.
will still say so when we eventually fuck up the entire sport by going to 8.

  7. 8 is enough. 16 would fuck it up.

  9. I had to do a bit of driving around today. I listened to the high school state championship game between Catholic High and the New York Yankees of Louisiana high school football John Curtis. I don't know whether Curtis was undefeated or not but Catholic had 3 regular season losses, yet they beat JC for the title. Has their season been devalued somehow? I think there are 32 teams in the playoffs n each classification.

  10. I couldn't disagree more with the whole concept of devaluing the regular season. I think true Champions are defined when the pressure is on. Squeezing coal into diamonds so to speak. I believe an extended playoff brings out a true champion more than breezin through a regular season facing average opponents and compiling a gaudy record.
