Did Tuberville just call LSU's national championship lucky?

Hey, even Nick Saban admits there was no small amount of luck involved in getting a shot at winning last years' title (which is what Tubby's talking about--getting to the big game itself). Even the best teams need a little luck every now and then, which by the way is just the product of hard work.<P>

No need to go inventing stuff about Tubby that ain't there; that only waters down the effectiveness of the legit crap he's said and done in the past to piss us all off.

 

I hate Auburn, which I think is apparent....but he is dead on correct. Every NC does need luck. It's the truth.

 

He is not inaccurate, look at Ohio State two years ago, talk about luck, and lets be honest had UGA or Ole Misses field goal kickers simply made one or two kicks from easy range, we would not be having this conversation.

Its takes a little luck in college football to win a National Title, since there is no playoffs. And now its even worse it takes bias in the media or ignorant sports writers and luck, as well as great skill.

We're we lucky that our defense was good enough to be #1 in the land all of last year.

Luck my ass. LSU had the best team in the country last year by far. You can call it what you want. One persons Luck is another persons defense creating opportunities and beating the hell out of the other team.

Tubberville always runs off at the mouth, even if he doesn't intend to. He told Mark Richt he needed to learn how to run the ball after he beat us Richt's first year.
