Great observation. And I agree that Randall looks good when going up against poor defenses and in practices. Oh, you didn't say that? My bad.... :hihi:
Both QB's looked much much better, now comes a much better test. Hopefully the offense will continue the progress against the better competition. :geaux: :lsug:
I thought Randall looked ok, but we can't tell a whole lot from this. We've seen in the past where he can be inconsisent from game to game. Now I thought Russell look pretty good, only maybe 1 bad miss. He does throw the best ball of the two, but we have no idea how he'll do on the road against a SEC opponent. I just believe you can only use the 2 QB system so long before it kills your team. Championship teams don't use the 2 QB system.
Well, you seem intent on glorifying Russell who has played against the exact same defenses. I like Russell a lot, but why the attitude against Randall? He did a fine job last night. Give the guy a chance. And don't go back any farther than this year. His past performances are not relevant to the here and now.
Good, cuz I only need to go back to the first half of the OSU game. As much as I am having attitude about Randall, you're holding onto him for dear life it seems.....let go....it's ok....someone can even hold your hand if necessary You wanna see "Deer in the headlights, part deux"? Then start Randall against a fired up Auburn defense on Saturday podna.
This tells me you wanna start Randall, who you think will do so poorly that Russell will be forced to come in BEFORE the end of the first quarter, but that this logic should pose problems for Auburn and their defense. Wow....you're not the only one. Many posters on here are saying/implying similiar things. Check the logic people, that's all I am asking...check the logic.
